A No-Meat Experience at Bachi Burger
Bachi Burger has been gaining a great reputation as a burger restaurant like no other here in the Las Vegas area. It is located in the same shopping center as Miko’s Sushi where I go to enjoy some amazing vegan sushi. Every time I have been by Bachi Burger it is packed. On a previous visit there last year I really could not find a meal that I could do anything with. But things have changed since then with the emergence of the No Meat Here Burger on the menu. I guess the name says all that I need to know.
This is a house-made burger made with wheat, red beans, and shitake mushrooms and covered with a slice of Japanese eggplant, tofu, onion, and tomato on a bed of mixed greens. The buns at Bachi Burger are not vegan so order it “protein-style” with no buns. They also put a chili lime vinaigrette on it that is not vegan so substitute the orange vinaigrette instead. What you are left with is a very satisfying burger patty with wonderful flavor and texture. The eggplant and tofu were nice additions and the vinaigrette brought it all together.
You can also choose an indulgence of fries to go along with the No Meat Here Burger. They have a couple of kinds of regular fries along with a sweet potato option as well. You can tell the quality of the food that Bachi Burger produces, their attention to detail and their desire to go out of the box whenever possible. For those who eat a plant-based diet, you really only need one option, and the No Meat Here Burger will more than deliver for you.
