Getting a Little Wild About WildBurger

Though I wish that we had more strictly vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the Las Vegas area, I am thankful that we have many choices and more on the way when it comes to plant-based eating.  Part of making an impact on the mainstream is going to be seeing choices almost everywhere.  Sometimes in the most unlikely of places.  How about WildBurger in the Wildfire Casinos?

WildBurger is fairly new and has been getting some great press lately in regards to their burgers.  Yes, they do serve meat burgers there with lots of various toppings and options. Unfortunately, that is a way of a big part of the world right now.  But things are slowly and steadily changing.  What we are also seeing is legitimately kinder and healthier options alongside the regular offerings.  WildBurger offers a Veggie Burger and it is actually vegan.  Black bean based with soy and veggies.  No dairy additives needed or wanted. None of the bun options at WildBurger are vegan at this time but they do offer a lettuce wrap option and that was fine with me.

The Veggie Burger was a thick and delicious burger with lots of flavor between iceberg lettuce pieces with tomato and onion slices.  I also added on portobello mushroom slices, avocado, fresh sliced jalapenos, and roasted garlic ketchup.  It was a really, really tasty combo.  I have one of these WildFire Casinos near my house and I have visited the bowling alley a few times and I can tell you that I will come back in again for one of these Veggie Burgers.  Their little motto at WildBurger is “Eat Meat.”  I choose not to and recommend that same course of action for everyone else as well.  But I do say yes to the Veggie Burger and you should too.
