Raw Italian Sampler at Go Raw Cafe
I had full intentions of making up a batch of raw vegan lasagna but I ran out of time so I stopped by Go Raw Cafe because I knew that I could get some there. When I went up to place my order the gentleman that was helping me asked me if I had ever tried the Italian Sampler… I said that I hadn’t…but I would like to. That turned out to be a very good choice.
The Italian Sampler consists of a beautiful plate of raw and awesome food. There is the Lasagna, a delicious combination of zucchini, carrots, spinach, marinara, and nut cheese. The Zucchini Pasta Primavera is a terrific blend of zucchini pasta, marinara, pesto, olive oil, sun dried tomatoes, and garlic. The Bruschetta Toast is living bread with nut cheese, tomato, basil, garlic, pine nuts, and herbs. This was an outstanding plate of food and gave me great energy for the entire day.
You can have any meal of the day at either Go Raw Cafe on the west and east sides of town. Starters, tasty toasts, salads, wraps, soups, pizzas, sampler plates, and a great selection of entrees are all a part of a great menu of raw and wonderful food. Juices, smoothies, and desserts complete the menu. They also use eco-friendly recycled and biodegradable containers and utensils. All the more reasons to love the Go Raw Cafes…they only know it one way…healthy, raw, and delicious!
