I’ve been in a meat processing plant in Panama managed by the U.S. Army. It’s why I became a vegetarian. The cows going into the building knew they were marching to their deaths. They always had to be prodded at the entrance and each one began to bellow or moan as they entered. They could smell the blood. You never forget a thing like that.
