It’s A Wrap at The Ranch House Kitchen

We all need those places that are within minutes of work and we can pop in for a quick bite to eat for lunch.  There are a number of places that I am fortunate enough to be able to go to at Town Square if I don’t want to deal with going to one of the Strip properties.  I made it in to The Ranch House Kitchen shortly after they opened and enjoyed a very nice vegan burger there.  I had spotted the Portobello Wrap on the menu as perhaps a choice for my next time in and that is what I went back for.

The Portobello Wrap comes with goat cheese in it…so please ask them to leave it off and they gladly will do that for you.  The wrap is filled with greens, sliced portobello mushrooms, peppers, and onions with a very light dressing.  It comes with garlic fries but you can substitute a salad or fruit if you like.  I enjoyed the wrap and it made for a nice and quick lunch and and opportunity to watch a little of the ballgame.

The Ranch House Kitchen is what it is…it is a big bar that serves food.  The reviews, in case you have checked, are not very positive on Yelp but I don’t really care for the way that Yelp operates so I don’t put a lot of stock in what is said there.  Other reviews are more favorable.  I can only say that on my two experiences, everything was fine and the service was attentive and very nice.  The vegan-friendly items were good, and frankly that is all that I am really interested in.  There are many options to choose from at Town Square and I would not hesitate to go back and enjoy the ones that Ranch House Kitchen has to offer.

Bits and Bites:  I stopped in at Sunrise Coffee after seeing a post on Facebook about them having some vegan cheesecake in from Sweet Tooth Bakery (if you have tried the vegan red velvet cupcakes at Sunrise you know what I am talking about).  I stopped in for a little iced tea and a cheesecake and and it was a delicious and delightful little treat!
