Bacio One Year Anniversary Dinner
I can appreciate all that can happen in a year’s time. I am coming into the last month of my 365 day 365 vegan meals in Vegas culinary adventure. It is not the end by any means though…it is really only the beginning. I had the opportunity to be able to attend the one year anniversary dinner at Bacio in The Tropicana and it was a delight for all that were there. Chef Carla Pellegrino has become a favorite of mine in many ways, and it was wonderful to see all of the love that she received from all who were in attendance. Bacio is one of the choice restaurants that I enjoy dining at and I have blogged about the award-winning Bacio and it’s award-winning sister restaurant in Henderson, Bratalian, on a number of occasions. Superior food, service, and a touch of Chef Carla.
There was a host of foodies, journalists, and celebrities in attendance. Music was supplied throughout the evening by the lovely DJ Vital. Chef Carla did her thing and made her way around the restaurant making everyone feel loved in return…like only she can. There was also a terrific buffet for those in attendance and a number of the dishes were vegan-friendly. There was a delicious penne and vegetable marinara, couscous, and a spinach salad with walnuts and pears…and of course…lots of wine!
Las Vegas has been a wonderful fit for Chef Carla Pellegrino and her family and I know that even greater things are in store. Bacio and Bratalian will always be brilliant dining options for anyone and everyone. WIth only a little modification you can enjoy superior Italian cuisine without taking away from the beauty of the dish. Both restaurants are vegan-friendly and will work with you to get things just the way you want. It was a wonderful night and I was heartened to see Bacio and Chef Carla get the love they deserve. The world is hers for the taking…
