Pizza Fusion…Round Two

I will admit that I have been back to Pizza Fusion since my last blog when they had first opened in Henderson…but just to eat some pizza and drink a little wine.  I wanted to come back after they had settled in a bit and try some more…pizza of course.  Vegan pizza that is…because that is what you can get at Pizza Fusion.  Almost all of the specialty pizzas they offer can be made with their vegan crusts, Daiya or soy cheese, and a great selection of veggies to choose from.  The personal-size pizzas are great for one person or if your group all gets different kinds you can sample each others.

This is the first Pizza Fusion to open in this area.  You have to love this company and their commitment to being green…they are all about saving the earth one pizza at a time!  All of the furnishings in their restaurants are sustainable and eco-friendly and that extends even into how their kitchen operates.  They are also committed to offering vegetarian and vegan options because from an eating standpoint, being plant-based is one of the greenest things we can personally do.  I love the commitment to using organic and local products whenever possible. There are also many gluten-free choices as well.

I tried the Farmers Market pizza this round.  I ordered it on the multi-grain crust with the Daiya, artichoke hearts, red onions, roasted zucchini,  and roasted portobello mushrooms with tomato sauce.  It was a wonderful combination and did a quick Vegas-style disappearing act.  I am now looking forward to the next combo that I am going to try on my next visit in. And there will be plenty more visits, I can assure you.  After the meal…make sure you save room for the Fresh Homemade Brownie…it is vegan and just what you need to send you out with even more of a smile. Here’s to saving the world!
